Charme is being developed for a future international audience. Public availability and the countries supported at launch are still to be confirmed.
Privacy
Conversations live in this tab’s working memory while your session is open. Nothing is written to your browser’s storage unless you choose Save, and Charme keeps no conversation content on its application server.
During and after your session
Messages, replies, characters, drafts, memories, settings and confirmations are held for the current page session. Reloading, closing the page or choosing “End this session” clears that session.
If you choose Save, that story, with its messages, character and memories, is written to this browser’s local storage on this device only, up to 12 stories. It is never sent to Charme’s server. Delete one save from the start screen, or every Charme save from Settings. Ending a session doesn’t delete saves, and anyone using this browser profile could open them.
If you deliberately export your session in Settings, the downloaded file remains under your control until you delete it. Clearing a session does not delete your exports or screenshots, or guarantee forensic erasure from your device.
Pictures
When you ask for a picture, Charme sends the image service a short description built from the character’s appearance and, for a scene, up to 400 characters of the reply you chose to illustrate. The rest of your conversation is not sent. Charme stores the result for 24 hours so you can see it, then deletes it unless you choose Keep. Kept pictures stay with your account until you delete them or your account. Charme asks the image service not to store inputs and to delete its copy within an hour; its own terms still apply. Animation is not connected yet.
Processing beyond this tab
Messages, conversation history and relevant memories pass through B.AI to generate replies. B.AI’s privacy policy says it may collect, log and store prompts and generated outputs in anonymized form. A retention period and the applicable model training terms for this service have not been verified. End-to-end Zero Data Retention is not guaranteed.
The application server stores administrator-authored system presets separately from conversations and records technical status, latency and token usage. Hosting services may process connection metadata. Fonts are served directly by Charme, without a visitor connection to Google Fonts.
Where account registration is enabled, Charme stores your email address, a password hash, the time and version of your terms acceptance, authentication records, aggregate usage counters and your credit balance with a record of what was added and spent (never what you wrote). An essential secure session cookie keeps you signed in; it does not contain your conversations. Verification and password-reset emails are processed by Resend when configured. Usage counters are kept for up to 30 days; authentication links expire within 24 hours and sessions within 7 days.
For verified accounts, Charme keeps a few first-party product counts: start-screen views, which way in you chose, whether a first reply or picture completed or a picture failed, when an action needed more credits, whether you saved a story, confirmed payments, the days you were active and an estimated provider cost per day, with a pseudonymous account reference and the start-screen order you were shown. They never include what you wrote, names or pictures, aren’t shared with an analytics company, and are deleted after 180 days or with your account. No third-party analytics are installed.
If you connect Telegram, Charme stores your numeric Telegram user ID with your account so the bot can show your balance and take Stars payments. The bot only sees messages you send it. Disconnect it at any time from your account or with /unlink in the bot.
You can request account deletion from the account dialog by entering your current password and typing DELETE. This revokes your sessions and account links and removes your sign-in details, credits, kept pictures, Telegram connection and individual usage and product counts. If you still hold purchased credits, you’re asked to confirm giving them up first. Stories saved on your device stay there until you delete them. If you have no payment records, the account row is removed. If past payment records must remain for reconciliation, your sign-in identity is replaced while those records remain linked to an internal account reference. An unresolved payment requires support review before automatic deletion. Encrypted backups may retain earlier records; the final backup retention schedule and privacy contact must be confirmed before public registration opens.
Crypto payments go through BTCPay. Charme stores the order reference, pack, amount, payment status and the payment details shown to you (asset, network, amount and address); it never receives wallet keys. Telegram Stars payments are processed by Telegram; Charme stores the order, Telegram’s charge reference and your Telegram user ID. Conversations are never included in payment requests. Payment record retention must be confirmed before sales open.
Terms & credits
Charme is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You interact with AI-generated fictional characters. Replies can be inaccurate and should not be relied on as professional advice.
Payments are not open in this preview. The prices below are planned and create no paid commitment. When payments open, Charme will work like this.

The cost of an action is shown before you confirm it. Credits for a picture are held while it’s made and returned automatically if it fails or is interrupted. One balance serves the web and Telegram. Credits currently have no expiry date. Unused credits from a pack can be refunded on request: write to support with the payment reference.
Paying with crypto
BTCPay shows the exact asset, network, amount and a 30-minute deadline before you send anything. Credits are added only once BTCPay confirms the payment to Charme’s server; coming back from the checkout page adds nothing by itself. If less than the amount due arrives, nothing is added automatically: send the rest before the deadline, or contact support to complete or refund it. If more arrives, your credits are added and support can return the difference. A payment that arrives after the deadline is reviewed by support, who either add the credits or refund it.
Paying with Telegram Stars
Stars are paid inside Telegram through the Charme bot, after you connect your account. Credits are added once Telegram confirms the payment. If the same invoice is charged twice, Charme refunds the second payment; if that refund can’t be sent at once, the bot gives a reference for support. Ask for a Stars refund with /paysupport in the bot. Refunded Stars return to your Stars balance, and the unused credits from that pack are removed. Charme can’t exchange Stars for money.
If something goes wrong
If a payment fails or expires, nothing is added and Charme charges nothing. Write to [email protected] with the reference shown in your payment history. Taxes, final refund and withdrawal terms and the countries supported must be confirmed before payments open. No wallet or Telegram connection is needed to browse or use the free messages.
Safety & reporting
Roleplay is limited to adult, non-explicit fiction. The service does not permit sexual content involving minors, intimate impersonation of real people, or content that facilitates harm. Every picture request asks for fictional adults, fully clothed and non-explicit. A word filter refuses common mentions of minors, real people, explicit content and gore before anything is generated, and the image service’s own safety checker also applies. Neither is perfect: don’t use Charme to depict a real person.
Account registration requires confirmation that you are at least 18. Roleplay also has an adult confirmation step. These are declarations, not identity or verified-age checks. Additional assurance may be required before opening particular markets.
Getting help or reporting a concern
A reporting contact has not yet been published in this preview, and an in-app reporting process is not available. Support and reporting arrangements must be finalized before launch.
Charme is not an emergency service. This preview does not provide a verified crisis response protocol. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
